Nobody's Perfect-right? Wrong!

On Friday, I dropped Madison off at the church for a primary activity and Jacob, Brooklyn and I went to WalMart to get pumpkins for the ward fall breakfast. Jacob decided to take Madison's Hannah Montana mini guitar in and was listening to the song "Nobody's perfect". As he was singing along, he stopped abruptly and said--"mom-they just said nobody's perfect, but I am! That song is wrong!" Isn't it so true! I quickly flashed back to all of Jake's moments and thought whatever Jake--if you were perfect we wouldn't have so many 3 year old melt downs! And keeping my thoughts to myself, I had a very humbling moment. Here it is: Jacob is perfect--and in every way possible! He gives the best hugs you could ever get from a little boy. He is very sensitive to peoples thoughts and feelings and will take the very best care of you. He wakes up perfectly at 6:30 a.m. to tell us to get out of bed and make breakfast for him. He has the most perfect meltdowns any 3 year old could have--including laying on the floor and kicking his feet up and down! He is the perfect little chef--he even knows what measuring cups to pull out for pancakes! He is the perfect little football player and tackler! He is daddy's perfect little hunting buddy. He is the best converser ever--"hi! I'm Jacob Adams, what is your name?" He is the best little and big brother. He perfectly loves his sisters--in only a way boys can! He has the perfect little laugh that is so contagious. He has the perfect sassy voice for a little boy! And with all that said, he is a perfect little child of God. He is a perfect little assest to our family and we love him sooooo much! THanks for coming into our lives little Jake--we love you!
