This too, shall pass...right?

I have been in love with my little red-headed beauty from the time she was born.  She was a miracle from the beginning and we waited with much anticipation on the day she was born, to find out if this baby would be a girl or a boy.  Dave and I were both  convinced we were having a boy with dark hair.  So you can probably imagine the smiles of joy (mixed with lots of confusion) when the doctor announced it was a girl with red hair!  Oh, how we did not realize how she would turn our world upside down and all around!
She is a cuddler and a sweet little lover!  She has been attached (literally) to me since she was born, from nursing and co-sleeping, to hanging on my hip and arm!  Everywhere I turn around, she is there!  Now, for a while, it was pure bliss, since the other 2 have been HUGE daddy fans.  On the other hand, it has been a pure trial, filled with frustration of a severely co-dependent child!  At 17 mths, I was begging my pediatrician to help me find a solution to break her deathly screams and cut the tie of nursing.  After all, I did want my body back for just me!  To this day, she is rocked to sleep due to the fact I don't have the energy in me to repeatedly place her back in her bed, night after night, minute after minute.
Thus being said...we have hit a  horrible, HORRIBLE stage of being 3.  My sweet, little, co-dependent girl (who can still be that way at times, though rarely seen) has turned into a little monster child with screaming, scratching, hitting, pulling hair, teasing, bossing and antagonizing as her means of communication lately.
Now, many of you may think...her mom has a degree in Early childhood, teaches preschool and should have this mastered after 3 kids, RIGHT?  Wrong!  My mind is blank and I am sinking...no...drowning... in the energy it takes to provide guidance to this little girl of mine.  And did I mention...6 mths pregnant with extreme hormones and severe lack of energy to go with it on my behalf?  How is a mom to make a significant, positive come back on a child she has let get so out of control?  I think I am in desperate need of Super Nanny at my house to show me the tricks she has up her sleeve!
This being said...I'm heading off to give my little one some cuddles and let her know she is still LOVED a great deal at our house!  (**Sigh**Breathe**Sigh**Breathe**!)
